Willie Carson

At 69 Willie Carson will be the oldest contestant on this year's show, but this does not mean he will be the quietest.  Carson's racing career was exemplary winning racing's Classics and Champion Jockey accolades many times, but it has been as a racing commentator alongside Claire Balding that he is best known in recent years. Impressionista have had a field day with his squeaky voice and diminuitive size and he has often been accused of a Napoleon complex.  For many, if he performs to type, he could be as challenging and irritating as any of the mosquitoes in the camp. He is sure to be at the centre of everything, which does not of course mean he'll be popular with the viewers!
