Stefanie Powers

Whilst 69 year old actress Stefanie Powers has had a career spanning five decades and has a star in her honour on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame, she is best remembered for her part as an amateur sleuth between 1979-84 in TV series Hart To hart opposite Robert Wagner. She starts as an outsider to win the competition, but having survived a recent battle with lung cancer, she may find the jungle less than telling.  Too many Hollywood tales and the viewers will turn off, too few and she will be seen to be holding back. There will certainly be support for her because of her age if she shows strength in the face of adversity.

Stefanie is first to leave this series, she was calm unafraid of bugs, but at times a little too matronly, which at 69 years old is infinetly forgiveable.  Her nationality and lack of fan base probably worked against her more than any unpalatable character traits.
