Carly Zucker

Of all the contestants entering the jungle; Carly Zucker is not by any stretch of the imagination a celebrity, as she is not really famous at all. She is a fitness instructor that happens to be engaged to the Chelsea and England footballer Joe Cole.

World Cup 2006

It was during England’s World Cup campaign of 2006 that Carly was first noticed by the public as she was known as one of the WAG brigade that had gone out to support their partners. The British press concentrated more on where the WAG's (Wives and Girlfriends) of the players were shopping than of the matches themselves. Many commentators stated that this caused too much of a distraction for the players and could have been responsible in some part fro England's exit from the tournament in the quarterfinals.
