Im a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here 2009

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! is a reality television show filmed in the outback of Australia and hosted by Ant and Dec in which celebrities live without any of life’s luxuries until they compete in the bush tucker trials which will reward them with items such as hot meals and showers.  Viewers get to vote for the celebrity they would like to complete a Bush tucker Trial, which usually involving snakes, rats or eating various body parts such as a Kangaroos testicles, the more disgusting the better.  The celebrities are put up to a public vote similar to that of Big Brother and the last remaining celebrity after all others have been evicted is the winner of the show, and is branded King or Queen of the jungle.

We would like to thank our US visitors for visiting our site but we focus on the UK version of the show which takes place in Australia around December.

The show has been running since 2002 and the 2008 will take it into its eighth series, over the previous shows we have had 75 celebrities enter the jungle and 7 have left early due to injury or just having enough. The exploits of those in the show has helped boost ratings dramatically, we have seen Myleenes shower, The Jordan romance and of course Paul Burrell eating some unmentionable parts of animals anatomy.  The show is shown live on ITV1 with companion shows on ITV2 with celebrity hosts such as the likes of Kelly Osbourne and past celebrity entrants like Matt Willis and Tara Palmer-Tomkinson.
